TRAFOS K potassium phosphite 420 gr/l of P2O5 and 280 gr/l of K2O.

In this formulation, phosphorus is more effective because it does not form insoluble salts with the precipitating calcium and magnesium but has a high solubility and mobility thanks to which it is absorbed and translocated very rapidly both in an ascending and descending direction.

Recent experimental checks conducted at European research centers have demonstrated that Trafos K effectively increases the absorption and metabolism of phosphorus in the treated plants.

MODE OF ACTION

Trafos K carries out two types of efficacy.

The first type of action is direct: by stimulating the immunological mechanisms of plants it favors the synthesis of phytoalexins (modification of the cell wall of fungi and bacteria with inhibition of spore formation) and stimulates a hypersensitivity reaction in plants (isolation of already affected areas)

The second type of action is deeper: with the accumulation of phytoalexins there is a stimulation of the messages of resistance mechanisms which leads to an acquired systemic resistance against the primary parasites (downy mildew, powdery mildew, bacteria) and induces resistance towards other pathogens.

Trafos K quickly penetrates inside plants whatever the method of application, foliar or by fertigation. Phosphorus and potassium in the Trafos K formulation are in fact easily and rapidly absorbed both through the leaves and the roots of the plants thus allowing great flexibility of use.

For these reasons Trafos K is the ideal partner for fertilizers and crop protection products as it accelerates their absorption and facilitates their transport between the different parts of the plant.
